The Pioneers left everything out on the Diamond in Abilene, coming out of a three game series with two victories and only one loss! The boys kept Midland on their toes with excellent batting averages from Chase Plowman, who hit a solo home run in game one, and Mak Lerma, who hit a triple in game one and scored a run in game three. Chase Pockrus set the tone for the series, stepping up the mound as the first pitcher of game one and not giving Midland a chance to come home for seven full innings!
