Friday saw the Pioneers take to the beautiful scenery of Athletic Performance Ranch for another fast-paced Cross Country meet. Both the boys and girls performed well, staying solidly in the middle of the pack throughout the race and placing similarly as they crossed the finish line. Varsity girls finished in 8th place with Brooklyn Dotts winning the race overall, and Shane Noviski of the Varsity boys team placed 41st out of 215.
The JV girls did the best with a 2nd place finish out of 15 teams, Olivia Touraine snagging 8th place out of 138 competitors, and JV boys finished 16th of 24 with Kaiden Williams coming in 46th out of 221 racers.
The Pioneers come back Saturday at 8:00 a.m. to race the familiar grounds of their home campus.
